If you take both, a practical timing is sea buckthorn juice with or after breakfast and apple cider vinegar later in the day with a meal, in separate glasses of water, so you are not taking two acidic drinks together. There is no proven best time for either.
Principles for timing
- Space them out. Leave a few hours between the two, and not back to back.
- Pair with food. Taking them with or after a meal is gentler on the stomach.
- Keep teeth in mind. Avoid spreading acidic drinks through the whole day. Rinse after each.
- Be consistent. The same times each day make a routine easier to keep.
Sample schedule
- Breakfast: 15 ml sea buckthorn juice (10 ml if new) in a glass of water.
- Lunch or dinner: 15 ml apple cider vinegar in a 250 ml glass of water, or as a salad dressing.
- After each: rinse your mouth with plain water.
If you have a sensitive stomach
Take each after food, use more water, and start with 5 to 10 ml. If heartburn or nausea occurs, stop and speak to your doctor.
If you get reflux
Avoid taking either close to bedtime, and speak to a doctor before using them at all, since both are acidic.
Can I take them at the same time?
You can, but we suggest spacing them. See can you take both together?
What timing will not do
No timing makes these products a treatment or guarantees a result. They are foods. A calm, consistent habit matters more than the exact minute.
